    Description / Table of Contents: Transition Metal Substituted Ylides of Chromium, Molybdenum, and TungstenMetal-substituted ylides of the type X(CO)4CrC[P(CH3)3] R (2a-g) (R = CH3, CH2C6H5, C6H5, C6H4CH3-(4), C6H2(CH3)3-(2,4,6); X = Cl, Br, I) are formed by the reaction of trans-halogenotetracarbonyl(carbyne)chromium complexes 1a-g with trimethylphosphine at low temperatures. The reactions of the molybdenum and tungsten carbyne complexes 3d, 4d, e, h in addition lead to substitution of one CO-ligand by trimethylphosphine with formation of complexes of the type X(CO)3[P(CH3)3]MC[P(CH3)3]R (5d, 6d, e, h) (R = C6H4CH3-(4), Si(C6H5)3; X = Cl, Br; M = Mo, W). At higher temperatures 6e reacts with excess of phosphine to give Br(CO)2[P(CH3)3]2 WC[P(CH3)3]C6H4CH3-(4) (7e). The diamagnetic complexes, some of which are extremely thermolabile, were characterized by IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR, and 31P NMR spectroscopy.
    Notes: Metallsubstituierte Ylide des Typs X(CO)4CrC[P(CH3)3]R (2a-g) (R = CH3, CH2C6H5, C6H5, C6H4CH3-(4), C6H2(CH3)3-(2,4,6); X = Cl, Br, I) bilden sich bei der Umsetzung von trans-Halogenotetracarbonyl(carbin)chrom-Komplexen 1a-g mit Trimethylphosphin bei tiefen Temperaturen. Molybdän- und Wolframcarbinkomplexe 3d, 4d, e, h substituieren bei gleichen Reaktionsbedingungen zusätzlich zur Ylidbildung einen Carbonylliganden durch Trimethylphosphin und führen zu Yliden der allgemeinen Form X(CO)3[P(CH3)3]MC[P(CH3)3]R (5d, 6d, e, h) (R = C6H4CH3-(4), Si(C6H5)3; X = Cl, Br; M = Mo, W). Mit überschüssigem Phosphin erfolgt bei 6e die nochmalige Umsetzung zu Br(CO)2[P(CH3)3]2 WC[P(CH3)3]C6H4CH3-(4) (7e). Die diamagnetischen, teilweise sehr thermolabilen Komplexe wurden IR-, 1H-NMR-, 13C-NMR- und 31P-NMR-spektroskopisch untersucht.
