Synthesis and Reactions of 1-Chloro-1-cyclopropanecarboxylic Acids and 1-Cyclopropene-1-carboxylic AcidsStarting from the 1,1-dichlorocyclopropanes 1-6 the chlorocyclopropanecarboxylic acids 9-14 are prepared by chlorine/lithium exchange and subsequent carboxylation. 9-14 give the esters 15-24. The tert-butyl esters 20 and 22 which are 2-phenyl- or 3-phenyl-2-methylsubstituted react with potassium tert-butoxide to give the tert-butoxy esters 28 and 29. resp., by addition at the intermediate cyclopropenecarboxylate. The 2,2-disubstituted esters 23 and 24 yield the cyclopropenes 36-38 which on hydrogenation form the cyclopropanes 30-32. Reaction of 36 with sodium methoxide gives 39 by transesterification and the methoxy ester 33 by addition. The isomers a and b are assigned by their 1H NMR spectra.

Aus den 1,1-Dichlorcyclopropanen 1-6 werden durch Chlor/Lithium-Austausch und Carboxylierung die Chlorcyclopropancarbonsäuren 9-14 und aus diesen die Ester 15-24 dargestellt. Reaktion der 2-phenyl- bzw. 3-phenyl-2-methyl-substituierten tert-Butylester 20 und 22 mit Kalium-tert-butylat ergibt durch Addition an den intermediären Cyclopropencarbonsäureester die tert-Butoxyester 28 und 29. Die 2,2-disubstituierten Ester 23 und 24 liefern die Cyclopropene 36-38. die zu den Cyclopropanen 30-32 hydriert werden. Reaktion von 36 mit Natriummethylat liefert das Umesterungsprodukt 39 sowie durch Addition den Methoxyester 33. Die jeweiligen Isomeren a und b werden an Hand ihrer 1H-NMR-Spektren zugeordnet.
