2-Alkylideneimidazolidines - Synthesis, Basicity, 1H- and 13C-NMR Spectra4,5-Dihydroimidazolium salts 2, 3 and 4 were synthesized by carefully directed alkylation of 4,5-dihydroimidazoles 7 and 8. 2, 3 and 4 were deprotonated by sodium hydride to yield 2-alkylideneimidazolidines 1. 1H- and 13C-NMR spectra allow to assign the structures (E/Z) of unsymmetrically substituted derivatives 1k-r. Spectroscopic properties and basicities of the cyclic ketene N,N-acetals 1 are discussed in comparison with the open chain analogues 14.

Durch gezielte Alkylierung wurden die 4,5-Dihydroimidazolium-Salze 2, 3 und 4 aus den 4,5-Dihydroimidazolen 7 und 8 dargestellt. Diese konnten mit Natriumhydrid zu 2-Alkylidenimidazolidinen 1 deprotoniert werden. 1H- und 13C-NMR-Spektren erlauben die Strukturzuordnung (E/Z) bei den unsymmetrisch substituierten Derivaten 1k-r. Spektroskopische Eigenschaften und Basizität der cyclischen Keten-N,N-acetale 1 werden im Vergleich mit den offenkettigen Analoga 14 diskutiert.
