A systematic permutation-group approach for both the classification and description of the Feynman-Goldstone diagrams is presented. It allows us to “algebraize” the topological concepts and notions of many-body diagrammatic techniques, for example, the connectivity and disconnectivity of diagrams, the automorphism of a diagram, etc.
