Notes: Der Schmelzpunkt von TiCl2 liegt bei 1035 ± 10°C. Im System KCl/TiCl2 existieren die Verbindungen KTiCl3 (Smp. = 762°C) und K2TiCl4, wobei die letztere inkongruent bei 671°C schmilzt. Gegenseitige Löslichkeit der Verbindungen ineinander wurde nicht beobachtet.
