The ternary compounds Li9CrP5 and Li9CrAs5 can not be prepared in pure state. There are, however, mixed crystals of anti-fluorite type in the systems Li9CrP5/Li2S and LiCrAs5/Li2Se beginning at 26 mole% Li2S and 19 mole% Li2Se, respectively.The non-existence of the pure compounds is discussed with regard to extrapolated lattice constants.

Die der Verbindung Li9CrN5 entsprechenden ternären Verbindungen Li9CrP5 und Li9CrAs5 sind als reine Verbindungen nicht herstellbar. Es bestehen aber im Antifluoritgitter kristallisierende Mischkristalle Li9CrP5/Li2S und Li9CrAs5/Li2Se. Die Mischkristallreihen beginnen bei 26 Mol-% Li2S bzw. 19 Mol-% Li2Se.Die auf die reinen ternären Verbindungen extrapolierten Gitterkonstanten lassen im Vergleich mit den entsprechenden Vanadin- und Manganverbindungen darauf schließen, daß die ternären Chromverbindungen zu weiträumig wären.
