    Description / Table of Contents: By ESR measurements free radicals were detected after adsorption of some phenothiazine derivatives on an Al2O3/SiO2 catalyst. This result and those of other authors are discussed with the assumption that traces of iron(III) oxide-containing components of the catalyst may oxidize the adsorbed molecules under formation of radical cations.
    Notes: Nach Adsorption einiger Phenothiazinderivate auf einem Al2O3/SiO2-Katalysator wurden mit Hilfe der paramagnetischen Elektronenspinresonanz freie Radikale nachgewiesen. Diese experimentellen Befunde und auch diejenigen früherer Autoren werden unter der Annahme diskutiert, daß in Spuren vorhandene eisenoxidhaltige Bestandteile des Katalysators adsorbierte Molekeln zu Radikalkationen oxydierten.
