2-Thioxo-1,3-thiazolidine-4,5-dione and some derivatives of this compound have been prepared by interaction of dithiocarbamic acid and N-substituted dithiocarbamates with oxalychloride (formula see „Inhaltsübersicht“).The chemical and physical properties of this new class of compounds are described.

Durch Umsetzung von Dithiocarbamidsäure bzw. von N-substituierten Dithiocarbamaten mit Oxalylchlorid wurde 2-Thioxo-1,3-thiazolidin-4,5-dion bzw. Derivate dieser Verbindung hergestellt: Die chemischen und physikalischen Eigenschaften dieser neuen Verbindungsklasse werden mitgeteilt.
