Preparation and Isolation of Mixed Cyanothiocyanatochromates(III)The potassiumcyanothiocyanatochromates(III) are formed by stereospecific reaction. The reaction of K3[Cr(NCS)6] and KCN gives the trans series, whereas K3[Cr(CN)6] and KSCN react to the pure cis 3:3 complex (in presence of exceeding SCN-). The complexes are isolated by preparative column chromatography (alumina, acetonitrile).

Kaliumcyanothiocyanatochromate(III) erhält man durch stereospezifische Reaktion. K3[Cr(NCS)6] und KCN ergeben die trans-Reihe, K3[Cr(CN)6] und KSCN den reinen 3:3-Komplex (bei Überschuß an SCN-). Die präparative Isolierung der Komplexe erfolgt mittels Säulenchromatographie an Aluminiumoxid in Acetonitril.
