    Description / Table of Contents: Investigations on the Hydration of Tricalcium Silicate in the Presence of Magnesium Layer SilicatesThe influence of chrysotile and antigorite on the hydration of tricalcium silicate was studied with the differential calorimetric method. Untreated and chemical respectively thermally modified magnesium layer silicates affected considerable the hydration rate and the enthalpy of reaction. An explanation of the effect of magnesium silicates is given in connection with electrokinetic measurements.
    Notes: Der Einfluß von Chrysotil und Antigorit auf die Hydration von Tricalciumsilicat wird durch differentialkalorimetrische Messungen untersucht. Unbehandelte und chemisch bzw. thermisch modifizierte Magnesiumschichtsilicate verändern in starkem Maß die Geschwindigkeit und die Enthalpie der Hydratation. Eine Erklärung der Wirkung der Magnesiumsilicate wird im Zusammenhang mit elektrokinetischen Messungen gegeben.
