Crystal Structure of RbKSThe colourless compound RbKS has been prepared for the first time by annealing a mixture of K2S and Rb2S. Very hygroscopic RbKS crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group Pnma with the lattice parameters a = 822.2(3), b = 504.3(4), c = 945.2(2)pm, Z = 4 in the anti-PbC12 structure type.
Notes:
Erstmals wurden Einkristalle von farblosem RbKS durch Tempern eines äquimolaren Gemenges aus Kaliumsulfid und Rubidiumsulfid bei 820 K er- halten. Die sehr hygroskopische salzartige Verbindung kristallisiert orthorhombisch, Raumgruppe Pnma, a = 822,2(3), b = 504,3(4), c = 945,2(2)pm, Z = 4 im anti-PbC12,-Strukturtyp.
