Notes: The paper includes a technique for numerical integration over the surface of a triangle. The mathematical transformation which is described, overcomes the difficulties associated with the derivation of new quadrature coefficients and yet leads to results which are accurate.An application to an axisymmetric finite element method with triangular elements is also included.
