Notes:
The bivariate distribution function and the ring closure probability for a continuous wormlike chain derived by Gobush et al. and by Yamakawa and Stockmayer are translated into the two-dimensional case. The results may be written in terms of Fourier series instead of spherical harmonics. Evaluation is carried out to terms of order t-3, where t is the ratio of the total contour length to the persistence length.
