Summary A method is described for solving the boundary-value problem connected with the differential equation $$\frac{{d^2 x}}{{dt^2 }} = - f(x,t).$$ The problem is replaced by an integral equation with piecewise linear Kernel. The integral equation is solved by successive approximation and numerical integration. Numerical results are given working on an example of celestial mechanics.
