Conclusions 1. Manometric and chemiluminescent methods revealed that derivatives of D-homoestrone and D-homoestradiol possess antioxidant properties. 2. The greatest antioxidant effectiveness is possessed by d,l-Δ8(9)-bis-dehydro-D-homoestrone, d,l-Δ8(9),14(15)-dehydro-D-homoestradiol-3,17aβ, and d,l-Δ8(9)-bis-dehydro-D-homoestradiol-3,17aβ, for which ɛCL=9, 14, 14, and 21, respectively, in comparison with estrone. 3. It was shown by the method of chemilunainescence that the antioxidant activity of d,l-D-homoestradiol-3,17aβ, d,l-8-iso-D-estradiol-3,17aβ, and d,l-Δ9(11)-17a-keto-D-homoestradiol-3,14 is entirely due to their reactions with peroxide radicals of the substance to be oxidized.
