Notes: Summary Investigation has shown that for ensuring strength of a spoke it is first of all necessary correctly to combine the initial, setting tensile force of the spoke and the subsequent compressive force. It is desirable to construct graphs of the values of Tx and f and compile tables from which the orthopedist can get recommendations for choosing the initial tensile force of a spoke in order to ensure the required compressive force in the places of contact of joined bone fragments while guaranteeing spoke strength.
