    Description / Table of Contents: Riassunto Si considera la risposta ottica di una struttura a pozzi quantici di un semiconduttore realistico, in cui la polarizzabilità è non locale e il confinamento delle funzioni d’onda dell’eccitone è non ideale. Si calcola lo spettro di riflettività nel caso del singolo pozzo quantico GaAs/Ga0.7 Al0.3 As per l’incidenza normale. Non è stata trovata alcuna differenza significativa rispetto ai risultati numerici ottenuti sia con il calcolo della risposta locale, sia con l’approccio del confinamento ideale.
    Abstract: Резюме Мы рассматриваем оптической отклик в квантовой яме реального полупроводника, где экситонная поляризуемость является нелокальной и ограничение экситонных волновых функций не является идеальным. Вычисляется коэффициент отражения при нормальном падении в случае изолированной квантовой ямы GaAs/Ga0.7Al0.3As. Не обнаружено значительных отличий от численных результатов, полученных либо при вычислении локального отклика, либо в приближении идеального ограничения экситона.
    Notes: Summary We consider the optical response of a realistic semiconductor quantum well, where the exciton polarizability is nonlocal and the confinement of the exciton wave functions is nonideal. Normal incidence reflectivity is calculated in the case of GaAs/Ga0.7 Al0.3 As single quantum well. No significant difference has been found in comparison with the numerical results obtained either by the local response calculation or by the ideal confinement approximation.
