Summary With the increase in instrumentation and automation of analytical methods, results of measurement flow in in greater number and in more rapid sequence. By ordinary methods the evaluation of these results of measurement requires an increasing expenditure of time and effort. Since it is one of the main factors in analysis, the evaluation of data must therefore be further developed in accordance with measurement techniques, not only in order to save time, but particularly in order to approach nearer to essentials. Frequency analysis and the use of electronic computers are the methods of evaluation described. Their use is illustrated by examples from actual practice.

Zusammenfassung Mit zunehmender Instrumentierung und Automatisierung der analytischen Meßmethoden fallen Meßergebnisse in größerer Zahl und schnellerer Folge an. Die Auswertung dieser Meßergebnisse erfordert mit herkömmlichen Mitteln einen immer größeren Aufwand an Zeit und Arbeit. Das Erfassen und Verwerten von Daten muß daher als wesentlicher Bestandteil der Analyse der Meßtechnik entsprechend weiterentwickelt werden, um nicht nur Zeit zu sparen, sondern vor allem näher zum Wesentlichen vorzudringen. Als Auswerteverfahren werden die Häufigkeitsanalyse und der Einsatz von elektronischen Rechenmaschinen beschrieben. Ihre Anwendung wird an Hand von Beispielen aus der Praxis dargestellt.
