    Notes: Summary The mechanism of the epoxy resin curing with dicyandiamide was studied using the model phenyl glycidyl ether. Some reaction products were isolated by HPLC and characterized by FTIR and Carbon-13 NMR spectroscopy. Examples are given to illustrate the presence of linear and cyclic structures with or without nitrile functions in the complex reaction mixture.
