Notes:
Summary Blood circulation in guinea pig cochlea was studied using a new “Ultraparc”-microscope with especially intensive light source and long-distance focus. Alterations after application of ephedrinelike substances were observed. We assume that there are alpha- and beta-adrenergic receptors within cochlea vessels, that noradrenaline produces vascular disturbance of the cochlea vessels and that after administration of isoproterenol an vasodilating effect could be shown.
