Zusammenfassung Es werden bei der Behandlung des Magenkrebses angestrebt: 1. die organ- und lymphknotenspezifische Radikalität, 2. ein optimales Rekonstruktionsverfahren, welches die agastrischen Syndrome weitgehend verhütet. Die klinischen Resultate sind wie folgt: 1977/1978 Chirurgische Klinik Mainz und 1979/1982 Chirurgische Klinik Krefeld insgesamt 67 Gastrektomien und 45 subtotale Magenresektionen. Die Letalität war mit 3 Patienten gering. Die 3 bzw. 4 Jahresüberlebensrate war mit 70- 80 % hoch. Die Erfolge sind sicher der organ- und lymphknotenspezifischen Radikalität beim operablen Magencarcinom zuzuordnen.

Summary The aims of surgical therapy in gastric cancer are: (1) organ- and lymph-node-specific radical surgery and (2) optimal reconstruction methods. 1977 to 1978 in the Surgical Clinic in Mainz and from 1981 to 1982 in the Surgical Clinic in Krefeld, 67 patients underwent gastrectomy and 45 patients subtotal gastrectomy. Postoperativ mortality was only 3 %. The results can be attributed surgical into organ- and lymph-node-specific radical surgery.
