Summary The preparation of a new primary substance for the standardization of acid volumetric solutions is described. The reagent may be used immediately after it has been sucked dry; it is sublimable, non-hygroscopic, easily soluble in water. A mixed indicator consisting of bromcresol green and methyl red is used for the titration of the reagent with acid and vice versa. Theoretical values were obtained in the determination of the normality of various mineral acids.

Résumé On décrit la préparation d'un nouvel étalon fondamental pour l'établissement d'une liqueur titrée acide. On peut utiliser le réactif aussitôt après essorage; il est sublimable, non hygroscopique et facilement soluble dans l'eau. Pour le titrage du réactif par l'acide et réciproquement, on utilise un indicateur mixte, se composant de vert de bromocrésol et de rouge de méthyle. On obtient les valeurs théoriques en déterminant la normalité de divers acides minéraux.

Zusammenfassung Die Herstellung einer neuen Urtitersubstanz für die Einstellung von Säuremaßlösungen wird beschrieben. Das Reagens kann sofort nach Trockensaugen verwendet werden; es ist sublimierbar, nicht hygroskopisch und in Wasser leicht löslich. Für die Titration des Reagens mit Säure und umgekehrt wird ein Mischindikator, bestehend aus Bromkresolgrün und Methylrot, verwendet. Bei Bestimmung der Normalität verschiedener Mineralsäuren werden theoretische Werte erhalten.
