Notes: The title compound, 7,7′-bis[(4,7,10,13,16-pentaoxa-1-azacyclooctadecane)carbonyl]thioindigo, C42H54N2O14S2, was found to be centrosymmetric and planar. Three members of the crown ether ring were disordered with roughly equal occupancy between two sets of positions.
