Notes:
A series of molybdates, Ag2Mo2O7 and AMoO4 (A = Zn, Co), were prepared as a new type ofinorganic antibacterial agent via wet chemical routes including hydrothermal synthesis and coprecipitationreaction. The structure and morphology of the samples were characterized with X-ray diffractionand scanning electron microscopy. The anti-bacterial properties of the molybdates against Escherichiacoli and staphylococcus aureus were examined, showing good antibacterial behavior
