Notizen: 13CH satellite NMR spectra have been employed in the analysis of an unknown reaction product. Observation of the deceptively simple 1H NMR spectrum did not, in this instance, yield sufficient information for identification of the compound. However, with the aid of the satellite parameters the reaction site became clearly defined and the structure was assigned as α-(chlorovinyl)-dichlorophosphine. These unique spectral parameters are discussed and compared to those of similar ethylenic species.
