Summary 1. Leucocytes of patients with multiple sclerosis did not show any specific change after reaction with Lyssa (Rabies) Virus: there was no evidence for a cell-bound hypersensitivity against the Lyssa (Rabies) Virus. 2. The problems of the etiology of multiple sclerosis with respect to the Lyssa Virus as a causative agent are discussed.

Zusammenfassung 1. Die Leukocyten von Kranken mit multipler Sklerose ließen bei Kontakt mit Lyssa-Virus keine spezifischen Veränderungen erkennen: Eine zellgebundene Allergie gegen Lyssa-Virus war bei diesen Kranken nicht vorhanden. 2. Auf die Problematik der Lyssa als ätiologischer oder pathogenetischer Faktor bei der Entstehung der multiplen Sklerose wird eingegangen. Bedeutung und Zustandekommen der Ergebnisse werden diskutiert.
