Notes:
Summary An enduring level of antibody was produced in swine for 90 days by the inoculation of a trivalent vaccine combined with oil adjuvant. The antigenicity of the virus type determined, to considerable degree, the antibody level attained. This relatively simple method of protecting swine from foot-and-mouth disease appears to have a practical application in future field studies.
