Notes: Relatively simple techniques, utilizing divergent unfiltered microbeam X-ray sources and large source-to-detector (film) distances, have been used to obtain detailed high-resolution photographs of regions of interest in reciprocal space. These photographs reveal many previously unreported intensity anomalies. An example is given of a completely indexed photograph of forward direct beams transmitted through a perfect germanium crystal. Points of interest are discussed.
