    Description / Table of Contents: Seven- (N2O2Si3) and Eight-membered (N2O2Si4) Rings from a (Hydroxysilyl)hydrazine and 1-Amino-3-fluorosiloxanesHalogeno-functional siloxanes [(Me3C)2SiCl—O—SiHalR2, Hal = F, R = CMe3 (2), Hal = Cl, R = Ph (3)] are obtained in the reaction of dihalogenosilanes with (Me3C)2Si(Cl)OLi (1a). (Me3C)2Si(Cl)OH reacts smoothly with ammonia to form the aminosilanol (Me3C)2Si(NH2)OH (4). With fluorosilanes its lithium salt 4a yields the amino- and fluoro-functional siloxanes 5 - 8 [(Me3C)2Si(NH2) —O—SiFRR′, R = R′ = Me (5), R = R′ = CMe3 (6), R = F, R′ = CMe3 (7), R = F, R′ = N(SiMe3)2 (8)]. Primary amines react with 1 by intermolecular HCl elimination to give the 1-chloro-3-hydroxysiloxane 9, hydrazine reacts to form the N,N′-bis(hydroxysilyl)hydrazine 10, methylhydrazine to yield the N-(hydroxysilyl)-N-methylhydrazine 11, and N,N′-dimethylhydrazine to give 9. The reaction of the dilithium salt 10a with F3SiN(SiMe3)2 leads to the formation of the seven-membered N2O2Si3 ring 12. The 1,5,3,7,2,4,6,8-dioxadiazatetrasilocanes 13 and 14 are obtained by LiF elimination from lithiated 5 and 7, respectively.

Description / Table of Contents: Alkali Triazaphosphininolates  -  synthesis and ReactionsThe alkali triazaphosphininolates 2, 3, 4, and 6 are obtained by the reaction of 2,2-difluoro- or 2,2-dichloro-4,6-bis(trifluoromethyl)-1,3,5,2λ5-triazaphosphinine (1 and 5) with NaOCHMe2, NaOCMe3, KOCHMe2, or KOCMe3 and LiOSiMe3. NaOSiMe2CMe3 reacts with 1 in a molar ratio 1:1 or 2:1 to give the siloxy-substituted compounds 8 and 92). The 2-fluoro-triazaphosphinin-2-ol 72) is formed in the reaction of 4 with HF. 7 reacts with KOH to yield 2. The reaction of the sodium triazaphosphininolate 3 with ClSiMe3 leads to the formation of the siloxytriazaphosphinine 10. The N-lithiotriazaphosphinine-2-amines 13 and 14 are obtained from the aminofunctional compounds 11 and 12 and LiN(SiMe3)2. 14 reacts with ClSiMe3 to give LiCl and 15.

Description / Table of Contents: Highly Substituted 1-tert-Butyl-1-silacyclohexadienesSilacyclohexadienes with bulky ligands and good leaving groups are of interest for experiments concerning the synthesis of kinetically stabilized silabenzene derivatives. Here we describe the synthesis of 1-tert-butyl-1-silacyclohexadienes, which are substituted in 1-, 2-, 4-, and 6-position. From lithiated precursors, the trialkylsilyl- or tert-butyl-substituted silacyclohexadienes 6, 8, 9, 12, 13, 14, and 15 are formed by substitution reactions. The methoxysilane 1 is transferred with LiAlH4 to the hydrosilane 2. Si—H or C—H bond cleavage with N-bromosuccinimide results in the formation of the silacyclohexadienes 3 and 5, brominated in 1- and/or 4-position. In some substitution reactions isomerisation of the diene system is observed. The new compounds are characterized by their 1H-, 13C-, and 29Si-NMR spectra and by their MS data.

Description / Table of Contents: Transition-Metal Silyl Complexes, 26. - Gold(I) Silyl ComplexesComplexes of type L-Au-SiR3 with L = PR′3 or PhNC and SiR3 = Si(aryl)3, Si(SiMe3)3, or SiPh2Me are prepared by reaction of L-Au-Cl with LiSiR3. Depending on L and R, their stability decreases, in the order R′3P-Au-Si(aryl)3 〉 R′3P-Au-Si(SiMe3)3 〉 R′3P-Au-SiPh2Me ≈ PhNC-Au-SiR3. Reaction of R′3P-Au-CH3 or R′3P-Au-OAc with HSiR3 does not yield silyl complexes. However, using chlorinated silanes like HSiR2Cl, CH3/Cl or OAc/Cl exchange takes place. The Mössbauer spectrum of MePh2P-Au-SiPh3 (6) and NMR- and IR-spectroscopic investigations show that silyl groups act as strong σ donors towards the gold atom. MePh2P-Au-SiPh3 (6) and MePh2P-Au-Si(SiMe3)3 (7) have been characterized by X-ray structure analyses [Au—Si 235.4(4) and 235.6(2) pm]. The Au-Si bond in MePh2P-Au-SiPh2Tol (5) is cleaved by X2 (X = Cl, Br, I), HCl or MeI, but not by H2O or MeOH.
Notes: Komplexe des Typs L-Au-SiR3 mit L = PR′3 oder PhNC und SiR3 = Si(aryl)3, Si(SiMe3)3 oder SiPh2Me wurden durch Umsetzung von L-Au-Cl mit LiSiR3 dargestellt. Ihre Stabilität sinkt in Abhängigkeit von L und R in der Reihenfolge R′3P-Au-Si(aryl)3 〉 R′3P-Au-Si(SiMe3)3 〉 R′3P-Au-SiPh2Me ≈ PhNC-Au-SiR3. Umsetzung von R′3P-Au-CH3 oder R′3P-Au-OAc mit HSiR3 ergibt keine Silyl-Komplexe, bei Verwendung chlorierter Silane, HSi-R2Cl, findet lediglich CH3/Cl- bzw. OAc/Cl-Austausch statt.
