    Notes: The shift of the K-absorption edge (δEk) was measured in Se100-xInx binary system where 0 ≤x ≤ 30. The K-edge of Se progressively shifted toward the lower energy side as the In concentration increased from 0 to 15 at.-%. However, at higher concentrations, the relative shift started to decrease. The results are in accordance with Pauling's concept of electronegativity and indicate that the nature of the bonds is iono-covalent in these glasses, as found in many crystalline solids. The composition dependence of the edge shift is also discussed in terms of the structure of Se.

    Notes: The shift of the K-absorption edge (ΔEK) was measured in Se80-xTe20Inx, where 0 ≤ x ≤ 20. It is observed that the K-edge of Se shifts progressively towards the lower energy side as the In concentration increases from 0 to 15 at.-%. However, at higher concentrations, the relative shift starts to decrease. The results are in accordance with the Pauling concept of electronegativity and indicate that the nature of the bonds is iono-covalent in these glasses, as found in many crystalline solids. The composition dependence of the edge shift is also discussed in terms of the structure of the Se-Te system.

    Description / Table of Contents: Die dielektrischen Eigenschaften von drei Epoxidharzen wurden in Abhängigkeit von der Frequenz und der Temperatur untersucht. Die Gleichstromleitfähigkeit der Proben wurde bei unterschiedlichen Temperaturen gemessen. Ein Vergleich der Ergebnisse zeigt, daß die dielektrischen Eigenschaften von der Epoxidzahl abhängen, während die Gleichstromleitfähigkeit hauptsächlich von der Molekülmasse der Epoxidharze bestimmt wird.
    Notes: The dielectric properties of three epoxy resins have been studied as a function of frequency and temperature. The de conductivity of the samples was measured at different temperatures. A comparison of the results shows that the dielectric properties are dependent on the epoxide value, while the de conductivity depends mainly on the molecular weight of the epoxy resins.

    Description / Table of Contents: Die Röntgenstreuung von Amino-, Epoxy-, Alkyd- und Esterharzen wurde untersucht. Aus dem diffusen Halo wurde ein effektiver Abstand der Polymerketten berechnet. Mit Hilfe der von Boyer und Miller vorgeschlagenen empirischen Korrelationen wurde die Querschnittsfläche der Kettenmoleküle ermittelt, und daraus wurden die Zahl der Atome zwischen zwei Verknüpfungen, der Steifheitsparameter der Kette und die isotherme Kompressibilität abgeschätzt.
    Notes: The X-ray diffraction of amino, epoxy, alkyd, and ester gum resins was investigated. The diffraction halo was used to compute an effective distance value in the polymers. With the help of the empirical correlation graphs suggested by Boyer and Miller the cross-sectional area of the chain molecules was evaluated, and from that the number of chain atoms per entanglement, the stiffness parameters of the chain, and the isothermal compressibility were estimated.

Die Röntgenbeugungsdiagramme der Polymere weisen zwei diffuse Halos auf. Aus dem äußeren Halo wurden effektive Braggsche Abstände ermittelt, aus denen mit Hilfe der empirischen Methode von Boyer und Miller die Querschnittsfläche je Kettenmolekül, die Zahl der C-Atome zwischen zwei Verschlaufungen und der Steifheitsparameter für diese Polymere abgeleitet wurden.
    Notes: The X-ray diffraction of ferrocenylmethyl acrylate, ferrocenylmethylene, vinylferrocene homopolymer, vinylferrocene-styrene copolymer, vinylferrocene-vinylpyridine copolymer, and vinylruthenocene-styrene copolymer had been studied. The diffraction patterns of the polymers show two diffuse halos. The outer halo was used to estimate effective Bragg spacings from which by the empirical method of Boyer and Miller the cross-sectional area per chain molecule, the number of carbon atoms per entanglement, and the stiffness parameter for these polymers were derived.
