    Description / Table of Contents: [Bis(trimethylsilyl)isodiazene](cyclopentadienyl)metal Complexes: Synthesis and Structure1)The following complexes are formed by the reaction of Cp2TiCl2 or Cp2M (M = V, Cr, Mn; Cp = C5H5) with Me3Si-N = N-SiMe3: Cp2TiNN(SiMe3)2 (2), Cp2VNN(SiMe3)2 (1), [CpCrNN(SiMe3)2]2 (3), [CpMnNN(SiMe3)2]2 (4). While in the case of 2 (and possibly 1) the bis(trimethylsilyl)isodiazene ligand is terminally bound to the metal, according to X-ray analysis in the case of 4 (and possibly 3) NN(SiMe3)2 combines two metal atoms.
    Notes: Durch Reaktion von Cp2TiCl2 bzw. Cp2M (M = V, Cr, Mn; Cp = C5H5) mit Me3Si-N = N-SiMe3 bilden sich folgende Komplexe: Cp2TiNN(SiMe3)2 (2), Cp2VNN(SiMe3)2 (1), [CpCrNN(SiMe3)2]2 (3), [CpMnNN(SiMe3)2]2 (4). Während der Bis(trimethylsilyl)isodiazen-Ligand im Falle von 2 (und wahrscheinlich 1) terminal an das Metall gebunden ist, verbrückt NN(SiMe3)2 laut Röntgenstrukturanalyse im Falle von 4 (und wahrscheinlich 3) zwei Metallatome.

Planarität und Bindungslängen des Fünfrings (8a) entsprechen einer cyclischen 6π-Delokalisierung. Sie ist offensichtlich für das Zustandekommen der ionischen Form verantwortlich.

    Description / Table of Contents: Synthesis and Structure of Germylen-and Nitrogen (Phosphorus)-Germanium Ylide Complexes of Chromium and TungstenPentacarbonyl[dichloro(tetrahydrofuran)germylene]chromium(0) (4) and -tungsten(0) (6) react with silyl thioethers to form the carbene analogous germylene complexes 5a, b and 7. The Ge(SR)2 ligands are proved to be good π-acceptors. Germylene complexes can easily be transformed into ylide complexes (9) by addition of bases. An X-ray structure analysis has been performed with pentacarbonyl[bis(mesitylthio)germylene]chromium(0) (5a).
    Notes: Durch Umsetzung von Pentacarbonyl[dichlor(tetrahydrofurn)germylen]chrom(0) (4) bzw.-wolfram(0) (6) mit Silyl-thioethern werden die carbenanalogen Germylenkomplexe 5a, b und 7 hergestellt. Die Ge(SR)2-Liganden erweisen sich als gute π-Akzeptoren. Germylexe können durch Zugabe von Basen leicht in Ylidkomplexe (9) übergeführt werden. Vom Pentacarbonyl[bis-(mesitylthio)germylen]chrom(0) (5a) wurde eine Röntgenstrukturanalyse durchgeführt.

    Description / Table of Contents: Transition Metal Carbyne Complexes, XXXIX: Synthesis, Structure, and Electrochemical Behavior of trans-Halogenotetracarbonyl-(ferrocenylcarbyne) Complexes of Chromium, Molybdenum, and TungstenThe reaction of pentacarbonyl(ethoxyferrocenylcarbene) complexes of chromium, molybdenum, and tungsten with boron- and aluminium halides (MX3; X = Cl, Br) at low temperatures yields trans-halogenotetracarbonyl(ferrocenylcarbyne) complexes (1-5). The analogous iodo complexes (6, 7) are obtained by a halogen exchange reaction of the trans-bromotetracarbonyl(ferrocenylcarbyne) complexes with lithium iodide. The results of spectroscopic and electrochemical measurements of the novel complexes together with the X-ray structure of 2 are reported.
    Notes: Die Umsetzung der Pentacarbonyl(ethoxyferrocenylcarben)-Komplexe von Chrom, Molybdän und Wolfram mit Bor- bzw. Aluminiumhalogeniden (MX3 mit X = Cl,Br) führt bei tiefer Temperatur zu trans-Halogenotetracarbonyl(ferrocenylcarbin)-Verbindungen (1-5). Durch eine Halogenaustauschreaktion an den trans-Bromotetracarbonyl(ferrocenylcarbin)-Komplexen mit LiI gelangt man zu den Iodhomologen 6, 7. Ergebnisse der spektroskopischen und elektrochemischen Untersuchungen der neuartigen Verbindungen sowie die Röntgenstrukturanalyse von 2 werden mitgeteilt.
