Notes: Abstract A brief review of some research works for the advanced titanium alloys carried out at the Center for Advanced Aerospace Materials (CAAM) and Korea Institute of Machinery and Materials (KIMM) has\break been described. New titanium alloys having superior superplastic characteristics as compared to the conventional Ti-6Al-4V alloy has been developed and the fatigue crack propagation behavior of a gamma TiAl alloy has been investigated. Current status of titanium research and developments in Korea is also briefly described.

Notes: Abstract: High-spin states of odd-odd 168Lu were observed up to 18ħ for the first time using the 159Tb(13C, 4nγ)168Lu reaction at E 13C= 58.5 MeV. γ-γ coincidence, E γ singles, excitation function, and the DCO ratios were measured. Two rotational bands with signature splitting were populated, among which the lower-energy band is identified as π 7/2+[404] ⊗ν 5/2+[642] in view of alignment and energy systematics.

Notes: Abstract The usual formulation of the Euclidean Algorithm is not well-suited to be specialized with respect to one of its arguments, at least when using offline partial evaluation. This has led Danvy and Goldberg to reformulate it using bounded recursion. In this article, we show how The Trick can be used to obtain a formulation of the Euclidean Algorithm with good binding-time separation. This formulation of the Euclidean Algorithm specializes effectively using standard offline partial evaluation.
