Sommario La sindrome del nevo epidermico (SNE) è caratterizzata da lesioni cutanee verrucose lineari e da anomalie congenite dello scheletro, dell'occhio e del sistema nervoso centrale. Descriviamo un caso di SNE associata a malformazione dell'arteria carotide che può essere considerata un fattore di rischio per patologia cerebrovascolare.

Abstract Epidermal Nevus Syndrome (ENS) is characterized by linear verrucous lesions of the skin and congenital anomalies including bone deformities, eye and central nervous system (CNS) malformations. We describe a case of ENS associated with an abnormality of the carotid artery which is considered a risk for stroke.
