Description / Table of Contents: Summary In 1948–1958, in the era of conventional Radiotherapy, 22.1% of the patients treated in Freiburg for primary Hodgkin's disease were cured. These patients were of the Stages I, II and IV, according to Rye (the last originating per continuitatem). They were virtually eventy distributed between both types of illnesses, A and B, as well as both sexes. 3/4 of the healed cases belong to the lymphocytic predominance forms and to the nodular sklerosis form, 1/4 to the mixed cellularity and to the lymphocytic deplation form. The age of the cured patients at the confirmation of the diagnosis ranged from 4 to 59 years. All the cured patients were treated with radiotherapy to the involved regions, a number of the cases also received cytostatica, lymphnode exstirpation was carried out on one patient with histologically reticular form in Stage I, and he then received radiotherapy. None of the cured patients were only treated chemotherapeutically.
