In Addition to the Polymorphy of Bis(methylthio)methylsulfonium-hexafluoroarsenat CH3S(SCH3)2+AsF6-A second Modification of CH3S(SCH3)2+AsF6- is reported. It cristallizes in the triclinic space group P11 with a = 735.5(8) pm, b = 864.0(18) pm, c = 953.6(20) pm, α = 112.50(10)°, β = 98.26(6)°, γ = 101.20(5)°, Z = 2. Bond lengths and angles are almost identical to the monoclinic modification, space group C2/c. There is another torsion angle for the cation and a different distortion for the anion found.

Es wird über eine zweite Modifikation von CH3S(SCH3)2+AsF6- berichtet. Sie kristallisiert in der triklinen Raumgruppe P11 mit a = 735,5(8) pm, b = 864,0(18) pm, c = 953,6(20) pm,α = 112,50(10)°, β = 98,26(6)°, γ = 101,20(5)°, Z = 2. Bindungslängen und -winkel sind mit der monoklinen Modifikation, Raumgruppe C2/c, nahezu identisch. Ein signifikanter Unterschied wird im Kation nur in einem Diederwinkel und im Anion in unterschiedlicher Verzerrung festgestellt.
