    Description / Table of Contents: Zusammenfassung 1642 Patientinnen die wegen eines Mammacarcinoms in 10 südwestdeutschen Kliniken primar aufgenommen wurden, wurden zwischen 1971–1975prospektiv erfaßt.1984 erfolgte die 10-Jahres Auswertung der Behandlungsergebnisse. Die 10-Jahre Überlebensraten sind bei T1-Pa-fentinnen bei brusterhaltenden Operationen, einfacher Mastektomie, radikaler and supraradikaler Mastektomie gleich. Dagegen sind bei T2− and T,-Patientinnen die Cberlebensraten nach radikalen Operationsverfahren günstiger. Analog sind die Überlebensraten bei N,- and N2-Patientinnen die 10Jahres-Überlebensraten nach radikalen Operationsverfahren höher.
    Notes: Summary A total of 1642 patients who were admitted between 1971 and 1975 to ten southwest German hospitals with primary breast cancer were evaluated retroactively. The 10-year evaluation was done in 1984. T,-stage patients had the same survival rate after breast-conservation therapy, total mastectomy, radical and supraradical mastectomy. T2− and T,-stage patients had a higher survival rate after radical mastectomy compared with restricted operative therapies. A similar result was found with respect of the N stage. In N0-stage patients there was no difference between therapy groups; in N,- and N2-stage patients the survival rate was higher in the radical mastectomy group.
