Notes:
Summary The diagnostic procedures in 48 cases of osteosarcoma are katamnestic investigated, especially due to X-ray procedures, with regard to an early diagnosis. It was found that the possibilities of X-ray diagnostics are often used less or to late, in some cases important symptoms are not noticed, and in other cases was not thought for an osteosarcoma. The importance of aimed X-ray investigations is accentuated with regard to a final diagnosis and is discussed in comparison to clinical and histopathological investigations. With aid of selected cases it is attempted to demonstrate the necessity of early and aimed X-ray diagnostic with regard to an early diagnosis of osteosarcoma.
