Zusammenfassung Statistik über 4100 Unfälle im Kindesalter nach Unfallort, Unfallzeit und Art des Unfalls. Überblick über die Verkehrskenntnisse von Kindern, sowie typische Fehlverhaltensweisen von Kindern und Erwachsenen im Straßenverkehr. Besondere Bedeutung hat die Bauchspülung zur Früherkennung intraabdomineller Blutungen (n = 149). Überblick über Operationstaktisches Vorgehen bei Mehrfachverletzungen. Kenntnisse der typischen Fehlverhaltensweisen der Kinder im Straßenverkehr sind eine wichtige Information für all diejenigen, die Auto fahren und Kindern begegnen (Unfallverhütung bei Kindern).

Summary 4100 accidents in children have been followed up regarding the localisation, the time and the kind of the accident. A survey of typical traffic accidents in childhood is given. The so-called abdominal lavage is of special significance to detect early bleeding in the abdomen (n = 149). A survey of the operative procedures in cases of multiple trauma is given. Typical reactions of children which can lead to traffic accidents are given. This should be an information to all who drive and encounter children.
