    Notes: Das bisher nicht bekannte zweikernige Anion [Co2{NO2(OH)2}-(NO2)6]3-entsteht bei der alkalischen Hydrolyse von [Co(NO2)6]3-. Isoliert wurden Salze mit den Kationen Cs+, Tl+, [Co(NH3)6]3+ und [Co3(CN)2(OH)4(NH3)8]3+. RAMAN- und Ultrarotspektrum des neuen Komplexes werden angegeben und diskutiert.

    Description / Table of Contents: The crystal structure of Di-μ-sulfato-μ-hydroxo-bis[triamminecobalt(III)] sulfate 8-hydrate has been determined from three-dimensional x-ray data collected by counter techniques. The structure was refined using 2515 independent reflections and the refinement converged to a conventional R factor (on F) of 3.8%. The compound crystallizes in the monoclinic space group C2h4 - P2/a, a = 14.122(9), b = 9.858(2), c = 18.81(2) Å, β = 139.3(4), Z = 2, dobsd = 2.086 g/cm3 and dcalc = 2.14 g/cm3.Within the cation two bidentate SO4-ligands form bridges between two cobalt atoms. There are two types of S—O bonds (1.50 Å endocyclic, 1.45 Å exocyclic).

Das Salz kristallisiert in der monoklinen Raumgruppe C2h4 - P2/a mit a = 14,122(9), b = 9,858(2), c = 18,81(2) Å, β = 139,4(4)°, Z = 2. Das komplexe Kation ist ein zweikerniger Co(III)-Ammin-Komplex, bei dem die Co-Atome durch zwei bidentale Sulfatgruppen und eine OH-Brücke miteinander verknüpft sind.

    Description / Table of Contents: The preparation of the up to now unknown compounds [Co(NH3)6]MnF6, [Cr(NH3)6]MnF6 and [Rh(NH3)6]MnF6 is reported. The compounds crystallize in the space group Th6-Pa3, with four formula units in a cell. The magnetic moment of [Co(NH3)6]MnF6 has been measured (4,94 B.M.). The spectra of the above compounds and of K3MnF6 and K2NaMnF6 in the ultraviolet, visible and infrared region have been measured and discussed. The static distortion of MnF3-6 in K3MnF6 and K2NaMnF6 and a dynamic effect of the compounds with a complex cation due to the JAHN-TELLER theorem show two different types of infrared spectra.
    Notes: Die Darstellung der bisher nicht bekannten Verbindungen [Co(NH3)6]MnF6, [Cr(NH3)6]MnF6 und [Rh(NH3)6]MnF6 wird beschrieben. Die Salze kristallisieren isotyp in der Raumgruppe T6h-Pa3 mit vier Formeleinheiten in der Elementarzelle. Das magnetische Moment des [Co(NH3)6]MnF6 wird zu 4,94 B.M. bestimmt. Die UV- und UR-Spektren der genannten Verbindungen sowie des K3MnF6 und des K2NaMnF6 werden gemessen und diskutiert. Die statische Verzerrung des MnF3-6-Ions in K3MnF6 und K2NaMnF6 und ein dynamischer Effekt in den Salzen mit komplexem Kation als Folgen des JAHN-TELLER-Theorems machen sich in charakteristischer Weise in den UR-Spektren bemerkbar.

    Description / Table of Contents: The structure of [Co3(CN)2 {(OH)4} (NH3)8] [Co2(NO2)6 {(OH)2, NO2}] · H2O has been determined by X-ray methods. The compound crystallizes in the monoclinic space group C2h5-P21/n with a = 7.21, b = 12.38, c = 33.13 Å, β = 94°, Z = 4.The crystals contain trinuclear cations in which three Co(III) atoms are bound to two pairs of oxygen atoms. At the central Co atom there are two CN- ligands in the cis position. The cation is of symmetry C2.The anion is found to be a binuclear Co(III) complex. The two Co atoms are bound to two OH- and one NO2- groups.

Das Kation ist ein dreikerniger Co(III)-Komplex, bei dem die Co-Atome durch vier Hydroxidgruppen miteinander verknüpft sind. Zwei Cyanidgruppen sind am mittleren Co-Atom koordiniert, sie stehen in cis-Stellung zueinander. Die Symmetrie des Kations ist C2.Das Anion ist ein zweikerniger Co(III)-Komplex, bei dem die Co-Atome durch zwei Hydroxid- und eine Nitrogruppe miteinander verbunden sind.
