Zusammenfassung Es wird über quantitative Untersuchungen der einzelnen Phänotypen der Isoenzyme Glutamat-Pyruvat-Transaminase (GPT) und der sauren Erythrocytenphosphatase (SEP) berichtet. An Hand der Ergebnisse wird die Möglichkeit der Diagnose eines sog. stummen Genes und ihre forensische Verwertbarkeit in der Paternitätsserologie diskutiert. Auf Grund einer erheblichen Streubreite der „Normalwerte“ der Aktivitäten der einzelnen GPT-Phänotypen ist GPTo nicht mit der erforderlichen Sicherheit zu erkennen. Für das SEP-System wird ein Verfahren beschrieben, welches für die Paternitätsserologie unter praktikablen Bedingungen eine forensisch verwertbare Diagnose SEPo erlaubt. Nach Auffassung der Autoren ist in einem Falle isolierter, entgegengesetzter Reinerbigkeit im SEP-System stets eine quantitative Untersuchung erforderlich.

Summary A report is made on quantitative investigations of single phenotypes of red cell glutamic-pyruvic transaminase (GPT) and of red cell acid phosphatase (SEP). On the basis of the results, the possibility of the diagnosis of a so-called “silent gene” and its possible forensic use in paternity cases are discussed. On the strength of a considerable dispersion of the “normal values” of the activities found in each single GPT phenotype, GPTo cannot be recognized by this method with the certainty required. For the SEP system a process is described which produces a forensically serviceable diagnosis SEPo in paternity cases. According to the conception of the authors a quantitative investigation is always essential in a case of isolated opposite homozygosity in the SEP system.
