Zusammenfassung Die amitotische Kernteilung mit Cytoplasmadurchschnürung eines „Blasten“ aus der Phytohaemagglutinblutkultur mit nachfolgender Cytoconjunction zur zweikernigen Zelle und Degeneration wird beschrieben und mit Filmbildern belegt. Die Bedeutung des Vorgangs für die Zellregeneration der Haematopoese wird in Frage gestellt.

Summary At the third day in the phytohaemagglutinin blood culture a blast undergoes an amitotic division of the nucleus with division of the cytoplasm within 20 seconds. 18 min later the two newly formed daughter cells produce a fusion of their cytoplasms and become a binucleated cell, later degenerating by lytical decay. The process is described in detail and kinematographically documented. The signification of the amitotic process for the regeneration of the haematopoiesis is uncertain.
