Zusammenfassung Auch Enterotomien stellen bei schlechtem Zugang nach Funktion und Zustand des versorgten Darmabschnittes hohe Ansprüche an die angewandte Nahttechnik. Unsere Technik mit Stoß-aufStoß-Schleimhaut-, ebensolcher Seromuscularis- und zusätzlicher seromusculärer Sicherungsnaht hat sich auch bei 389 Enterotomien als besonders sichere Nahttechnik bewährt. Die Insuffizienzrate lag bei 1,3%! Tödlich verliefen 0,8% der Insuffizienzen. Diese traten auf im Heus, bei Gastronomien zur Einlage von Endoprothesen bei i.o. Ca-Patienten und im schlecht zugänglichen Rectum.

Summary Enterotomies require a high-standard suture technique, especially when the approach is difficult. The physiological and functional state of the intestines is also important. We used an end-to-end technique without stenosis, suturing the mucosa and the seromuscular coat, with an extra layer of seromuscular sutures coat sutures as additional protection. We used this method in 389 enterotomies between 1971 and 1981 and found it satisfactory. The dehiscence rate was 1.3%; mortality was 0.8%. These cases occurred either in the ileus, or were gastrotomies in carcinoma patients for endoprostheses.
