Zusammenfassung Die Kompressionsbehandlung nach Verbrennung ist für wenigstens 9, üblicherweise 12 bis 15 Monate erforderlich. Auch ein verspäteter Beginn ist lohnenswert. Die Ergebnisse sind abhängig vom Alter der Betroffenen, der anatomischen Lokalisation und der Art der Reepithelisierung, wobei überwiegend eine freie Gelenkbeweglichkeit erhalten werden kann. Subjektiv schwerwiegende Begleitreaktionen während der Narbenreifung werden minimiert, das initial wenig belastbare Epithel geschützt. Dadurch wird die Dauer der Arbeitsunfähigkeit häufig erheblich verkürzt.
Notes:
Summary Pressure therapy following burns is necessary for at least 9 months, normally 12 to 15 months. Results are dependent on the age of the patient, anatomical localization and type of reepithelization. Side effects such as pruritus and swelling of maturing scars are minimized. The initially vulnerable epithelium is protected.
