Zusammenfassung Auf der Basis von 3 822 Cholecystektomien, die entsprechend einer einheitlichen Technik ohne Cholangiomanometrie und -skopie mit ergänzender Papilloplastik vorgenommen wurden, erfolgt eine restrospektive Analyse. Der Analyse liegen zwei randomisierte Stichproben von je 237 Patienten aus dem Zeitraum von 1970–1977 zugrunde. 96 % der Patienten sind beschwerdefrei oder deutlich gebessert. 4 % geben nachuntersuchungswürdige Beschwerden mit kolikartigen Schmerzattacken an. In der Hälfte der Fälle kann eine organische Ursache außerhalb der Gallenwege nachgewiesen werden.

Summary Retrospective analysis of patients on the basis of 3,822 cholecystectomies applying a unique technique without using cholangiometry and cholangioscopy as well as a supplying papilloplasty. The study is founded on two random samples each counting 237 patients of the years of 1970–1977. 96% of the patients have no complaints or they feel much better. 4 % have troubles with attacks of pain on the right side of the upper abdomen. They were explored again. In half of the cases there an organic reason was found which had no connection with the bile duct.
