Summary The similarity solution is presented for laminar wall jets on bodies of revolution for power-law fluids. The functional dependence of the length and velocity similarity scales on a shape parameter and a flow behaviour index is determined. Discussion dealing with flow invariance, modified Mangler's transformation and with previously published results is carried out.
