Notes: [Auszug] Tel (ETV6) is an ETS transcription factor that is found fused to a variety of tyrosine kinases and transcription factors in lymphoid and myeloid leukemias and in fibrosarcoma and mesoblastic nephroma. It contains two functional domains, a pointed (PNT) protein interaction domain and a DNA binding ...

Notes: Abstract The scattering of a Gaussian beam by a ferrite cylinder is analyzed using two methods. The spatial pictures in the amplitude of the total Gaussian beam near the cylinder resulting from the two methods are both clarified and compared. The scattering by a ferrite cylinder coating a dielectric sleeve is also presented.

Notes: Abstract In this paper the exact analysis on the waveguide junction circulator and Faraday rotator are presented in detail. The correctness of analysis is demonstrated by its successful prediction about the performance of the devices. Many calculation results are presented by comparing with the experimental results. The approaches of expanding bandwidth of devices at W band are stated.

Notes: Abstract In this communication a note on the coupling efficiency between an antenna and a Gaussian beam is presented. The calculations of the coupling efficiency from both methods, a nomorlized inner product between the antenna radiation pattern and the Gaussian-beam pattern or alternatively, between the electric field at the antenna aperture and a two-dimensional field representation of a Gaussian beam, are compared for different aperture size in wavelength. How a correct solution can be gotten is stated.

Notes: Abstract A quasioptical ferrite switch is proposed as an essential building block in millimeter wave systems. In this communication the configuration of the quasioptical ferrite switch is described. The performance of the switch is calculated, and its application in radiometric system is pointed out. The isolation of such device is greater than 30 dB and insertion loss less than 1.0dB over whole W band.

Notes: Abstract In this paper, a high power millimeter wave waveguide Y-junction circulator, which is compound in structure, has been analyzed and developed. Its enduring power attains 60 W CW-power and the temperature of the waveguide surface does not exceed 25 degree centigrade under natural coolness.

Notes: Abstract Diffraction fields in the focal space of some lens is investigated by using ray tracing and Stratton-Chu formulas. Two formulas are used. One is surface integration formula, and for another a line integration is added. Comparison of two calculation results is given. It is shown that for hyperbolic lens two calculations results are same and for extended hemi-ellipsoidal lens there are a lilt difference between them.

Notes: Abstract The scattering field of a ferrite post and a cylindrical ferrite post containing conducting post illuminated by a plane wave is analyzed. The special interest is the scattering property of the ferrite posts, which is resonating at certain modes such as TM11 mode. We hope to know the speciality it shows and find its applications. It is found that the scattering field pattern of a resonating ferrite post is similar to the rotation of the scattering field pattern of a dielectric cylindrical post, which has the same dimension as ferrite. The scattering properties of the ferrite may give us some inspirations to explore its applications in microwave components. This property is utilized to explain the mechanism of the operation of the circulators. It also may be used in microstrip patch antenna, coupler and filter to control their properties. Other applications may be possible too. Some calculation results are presented.

Notes: Abstract Based on the boundary value solution of electromagnetic fields, a calculated results of the 3mm-band higher order modes waveguide Y-junction cirulators, which are given with the frequency dependence of the eigenvalues of the junction scattering matrix, are presented for the first time. It has been verified exactly by the experiments. Using the higher order modes. the bandwidth of the circulators can be expanded.

Notes: Abstract In this paper perturbational expansion of wave equation is used to analyse the Gaussian beam radiation efficiency and the near field distribution of aperture antenna. The analysis is also suitable at large angles from boresight because the Gaussian beam used here is corrected to satisfy wave equation. An approach of minimum deviation of aperture field is used to calculate the Gaussian beam radiation efficiency, and calculation results is compared with that of Wydle's[1].
