Zusammenfassung Für die Dünnschicht-Chromatographie auf gequollenen Gelen wird ein erprobtes Gerät beschrieben, das bei verbesserter Technik erhöhte Reproduzierbarkeit der Trennungen gewährleistet. Die sehr einfache Trennkammer dichtet gut ab, und die Trennungen zeigen keine Randeffekte. Eine Beobachtung der Substanzen auch während der Chromatographie ist in dieser Kammer möglich. Die Trennkammer wird von 2 im Winkel veränderlichen Schenkelteilen getragen. Ein Elutionsmitteltrog ist so in die oberen Schenkelenden eingepaßt, daß er direkt mit der Kammer in Verbindung steht und bei einer sehr einfach durchzuführenden Änderung des Chromatographiewinkels die Lage des Elutionsmittels im Bezug auf die Trogränder unverändert bleibt. Mit dem Chromatographiegerät können durch Einhängen entsprechender Tröge (Länge: 10 und 20 cm), die im Laboratorium eingeführten Plattengrößen 10×20 und 20×20 cm verwendet werden.

Sommaire Un nouvel appareil pour la chromatographie dans des couches minces de granules de gels a été décrit et essayé. Une reproductibilité accrue des séparations a été atteinte. La chambre chromatographique est simple à construire et ne fuit par. On n'observe pas d'effet de bord dans les séparations. L'observation des composés est possible au cours de la chromatographie. La chambre de séparation est maintenue par deux supports d'angles ajustables. Le réservoir d'éluant est attaché à l'extrémité du support supérieur, ainsi est-il connecté directement avec la chambre. Au cours du changement de l'inclinaison, la position du solvant par rapport aux côtés du réservoir reste inchangée. En employant des réservoirs convenables (longueur 10 et 20 cm), des plaques de taille standard (10 × 20 et 20×20 cm) cet appareil peut être utilisé.

Summary A new apparatus for thin-layer chromatography on swollen gels has been designed and tested. An increased reproducability of separations has been achieved. The separation chamber is simple to construct and does not leak. The separations do not show dilated edge effects. Observation of the compounds is possible even during the chromatographie run. The separation chamber is held by two supports of adjustable angles. The eluting solvent trough is attached to the upper support ends in such a way, that it is connected directly with the chamber. During change of the inclination angle the position of the solvents with respect to the trough edges remains unchanged. By using suitable troughs (length 10 and 20 cm), the standard plate sizes 10×20 and 20×20 cm can be used with this chromatographie apparatus.
