Conclusions 1. New contact composite materials, SG3m, SG5m, SN29G3m, SN29G3K1m, and SG5K1m, have been formulated, and techniques have been developed for their manufacture. 2. The physicomechanical characteristics and electrical wear resistance of the new fine-grained contacts are superior to those of the existing series-produced coarse-grained contacts. 3. SG3K1m, SG5K1m, and SN29G3K1m contacts, exhibiting the highest wear resistance, should be employed instead of SG3, SG5, SN29G3, and SN29mG3 coarse-grained contacts.
