Notes:
Summary An account over the total protein content in nuclei of resting pigmented naevi with various types of histoarchitectonical configuration was presented, basing this work on the previous cytophotometrical studies. Precursively, the DNA, histon protein-as well as arginin content on identical tissue material has been discussed. In contrast to human thymus lymphocyts, a statistical increase of the nucleohiston, arginin and total protein in pigmented naevi of corial type could be shown. A displacement of the DNA peak in the interdiploid-tetraploid or tetraploid phase towards the right as well as an increase of the histon protein and arginin could be noticed in epidermal-dermal naevi with junctional activity. A statistical significant increase of the total protein could not be observed in opposite to pigmented naevi from corial type, despite the displacement of the total protein towards the right.
