Imino-Oxygen Exchange Reactions Between Bis(iminophosphoranes)and DiketonesBis(iminophosphoranes) of the type Ph3P=N—[CH2]n —N=PPh3 (1a: n = 0; 1b: n = 2) react analogously to a Wittig reaction with 1,2-, 1,3-, and 1,4-diketones to give triphenylphosphine oxide and N-heterocycles. The formation of 2-oxoimidazolidine in high yields from 1,2-bis(triphenylphosphoranylideneamino)ethane (1b) and CO2 is described. The reaction path is discussed.

Bis(iminophosphorane) vom Typ Ph3P=N—[CH2]n—N=PPh3 (1a: n = 0; 1b: n = 2) reagieren nach Art einer Wittig-Reaktion mit 1,2-, 1,3- und 1,4-Diketonen zu Triphenylphosphinoxid und N-Heterocyclen. Es wird ferner über die Umsetzung von 1,2-Bis(triphenyl-phosphoranylidenamino)äthan (1b) mit CO2 berichtet, die in guter Ausbeute 2-Oxoimidazolidin liefert. Der Reaktionsweg wird diskutiert.
